Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Archetype is made by Pairful ("we"). These terms apply to the Archetype desktop app, command-line tool and website at archetype.pairful.ai (together, "Archetype"). Questions: dev@pairful.ai.

2. Your licence

We give you a free, personal or internal-business, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use Archetype as we publish it. You may not resell or redistribute it, or remove its notices. Archetype is not open source; its source code is not part of this licence.

3. Services you connect

Archetype works through services you choose and sign in to yourself, such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, OpenRouter, web search providers and chat apps. Your use of each is governed by its own terms, and you pay whatever it charges. We are not responsible for those services.

4. What the agent does

Archetype can read, create, change and delete files and run commands on your computer, as far as the permissions you choose allow. You decide what it may do and you are responsible for reviewing its work and keeping backups. AI output can be wrong; do not rely on it without checking.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Archetype to break the law, to harm others or their systems, or to break the terms of the services you connect.

6. No warranty

Archetype is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. It is under active development and may change, stop or contain errors.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of Archetype. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above says when they last changed, and continuing to use Archetype after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
