Privacy Policy

The short version

Archetype runs on your computer. Your conversations, files, settings and sign-ins stay there. Archetype sends us no analytics, telemetry or crash reports, and we have no account of yours.

What leaves your computer

Only what you set up: your requests and the files the agent reads go to the model provider or engine you chose (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, Google or OpenRouter, directly or through Claude Code or Codex); searches go to the web search provider you enable; messages go to the chat apps you connect. Each handles that data under its own privacy policy.

Your API keys and sign-ins are kept on your computer, in its keychain or in files only you can read, and are sent only to the service they belong to.

Updates and downloads

The desktop app checks archetype.pairful.ai for a new version when it starts and when you ask it to. Like any download from the website, this request reaches our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services), which keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, file asked for, browser or app version) for security and operations. We do not combine them with anything else.

archetype.pairful.ai uses no cookies, analytics or third-party trackers.

Team features

If your organisation signs you in to a team host it runs, what you share there is kept by that host under your organisation's own policies.
